Startups and entrepreneurship have become the buzzwords in recent years! The startup ecosystem in India is flourishing like it has never before, especially web and technology based startups are blooming...
Year 2016 has been a very exciting and enterprising year for UnLtd Delhi so far. Over the last three months we have had the good fortune of meeting with many interesting social entrepreneurs working for a range of social issues- from Vikas Jhunjhunwala of Sunshine Schools, a budget private school imparting quality education to children from low-income communities to the dynamic duo of Nikhil & Akshat founders of Aadhan which manufactures eco-friendly, portable buildings made out of shipping containers retired from their tenure at sea.
It is always a humbling experience to learn about the unique ways in which the social entrepreneurs are trying to add value to the society. As Bill Drayton has rightly put-
“Social Entrepreneurs are not content just to give a fish or teach how to fish. They will not rest until they have revolutionized the fishing industry”
We are very delighted to announce our first batch of investees for cohort 2016-17-
